Baptism Requirements

Family must be registered members of our parish

Must bring in copy of the child’s birth certificate

The sponsors: 

• If they are a couple they need to be married in the Catholic Church.
• If the sponsors are not a couple they must have completed all of their sacraments up to Confirmation and be minimum 16 years old.
• Every sponsor need a sponsor certificate from the church they belong to.

 Parents and sponsors must attend a Baptism course:

• Spanish: The 1st Tuesday of the month.
• English:  The 1st Tuesday of the month.

Regular Baptism Dates:

•  English: is the 2nd Sunday of the month at 1:30pm
• Spanish: Is the 3rd Sunday of the month at 1:30pm

 Private Baptism:

•  The 1st or 4th Sunday of the month, or Saturdays at 1:30pm

Para obtener información sobre el registro de bautismo para niños menores de 7 años, comuníquese con Margot Paschoalim los lunes, martes y jueves de 9:00 a. m. a 3:00 p. m. en la oficina de la rectoría al 718-445-6164.

Requisitos del bautismo

La familia debe ser miembro registrado de nuestra parroquia.

Una copia del acta de nacimiento del niño

Los padrinos:

• Si son pareja, deben estar casados por la Iglesia Católica.
• Si los padrinos no son pareja deberán haber completado todos sus sacramentos hasta la Confirmación y tener mínimo 16 años.
• Cada padrino necesita un certificado de patrocinador de la iglesia a la que pertenece.

 Los padres y padrinos deben asistir a un curso de Bautismo:

• Español: El primer martes del mes.
• Inglés: El primer martes del mes.

Fechas regulares de bautismo:

• Inglés: es el segundo domingo del mes a las 1:30p.m.
• Español: es el tercer domingo del mes a las 1:30p.m.

Bautismo Privado:

• El primer o cuarto domingo del mes, o los sábados a las 1:30p.m.
